Art Competition for Elementary School Students of Ottawa

Organized by: La Vie Foundation – an Ottawa based not-for-profit organization working for the Canadian youths.

Art Themes

Environmental Degradation

Kids have the immense curiosity to know about the environment.

The elementary level students of Ottawa, Ontario already got some orientation from their respective schools about the environmental degradation. We like to see how the kids are thinking about their environment especially about the degree of degradation, the causes, how the degradation is happening, and how irresponsibly we are using plastic or throw our day to day waste etc.

The Tie Between Family Members and Pet Animals

Fifty-seven percent of Canadian Households own pets and especially kids love their pet animals.

Kids find a connection between family members and their pets. Our objective is to see how kids express their connection with their pets through artworks. For example, how pets help us, how we foster a pet or how a pet makes us happy.
